[His name is mentioned on the Polish Air Force memorial at Northolt, U.K.]

Ppor. Król S.Z. crashed on 2.7.1941 with Supermarine Spitfire Mk VB nr. 3263 in 
France and escaped.
He was recaptured at Öls, then Germany now Wrocław, and murdered at
Breslau on 14.4.1944 probably by Lux.
Cremated at Breslau.

"Great Escape"
Six Airmen buried in the Poznań Garrison Cemetery have been killed after the 
"Great Escape" from Stalag Luft III at Żagan, Poland. 

They were killed by German Gestapo and later on cremated. 
The urns containing the ashes were placed in a special mausoleum in the camp.
 In 1994 all the ashes were transferred  to Poznań.
