CRASH of WELLINGTON T 2612

Wellington Mk. 1C, T 2612 took off from Bramcote Warwickshire to bomb Bremen, Germany.

They were shot down bij Night Fighter Helmut Lent and the aircraft crashed on
02.37 hours at the crossing Kleingouw and Hoekweg at Andijk, the Netherlands.

The crew perished.

An engine of this aircraft was recovered by the Dutch Air Force in August 1974.
