The aircraft took off from Hemswell. Target was Essen. Wellington R 1590 was shot down by a German night-fighter and crashed at 23.13 hours in the dunes called "Duin en Kruitberg" near IJmuiden, the Netherlands

Three crew members succeeded to jump but two of them were killed by Germans before the landing except plut. Puskas Roman who has been wounded taken Prisoner of War.

Horbajczuk Emil, Jankowiak Wiktor, Porada Franciszek Stanisław and Toboła Jan Marian have been buried at Amsterdam, the Netherlands

Pietrow Jerzy has been buried in the British War Cemetery at Nijmegen, the Netherlands.
