Vickers Wellington Mk 1C, no. R1696 SM-P took off from Syerston, Nottingham. The aircraft was shot down on 00.53 hours by the Bf 110 of Oblt Prinz Egmomt van Lippe Weissenfeld and Uffz Josef Rennette. The aircraft crashed in the municipality of Hoogkarspel, the Netherlands.
The exploding 500 lbs bombs caused a tremendous damage because 26 houses were damaged or destroyed. One of the bombs has been still found on 2.10.2001.

plut. r/op. strz. Rogowski Henryk died 19.6.1941 in a German Hospital.
