He was victim of an accident, his own Sten-gun, which he was carrying 
in with the rest of the equipment, fell onto the floor, one shot was 
fired and it killed him. 
Buried by his comrades at Dongen because a Roman Catholic Cemetery 
at 's-Gravenmoer was not existing.
